Slow down, Stockman. Clark has not even let his policies be known yet. He has a great shell, but now he has to fill it in with substance. Like Arnold when he first came out and everyone raved, then realized he hadn't decided on any firm ideas yet. Clark will be a force, but probably not the nominee. He could make a great Veep but remember he has absolutely no political experience. Politics is a game even brilliant people completely fumble. It is only for the experts at the top level. Those who don't even need a campaign consultant like Rove to tell them what to do. Gephardt and Kerry are the frontrunners. Contrary to what Dick Morris says, Dean is finished. He just doesn't know it yet. He, Edwards, Graham and Lieberman all done.

I believe Clark can 20% of the delegates. That's a lot. The same as I predict for Dean, Kerry and Gephardt. Then the party powers will decide the ticket. The DNC wants Kerry, the unions prefer Gephardt, but since there's no more soft money the unions aren't as powerful as they used to be. The left-wing wants Dean but that plays into Bush's hands.
Bush will definitely beat Dean. Even Dick Morris agrees.

Clark will be backed by hybrids and a lot of non-black southerners who don't have a lot of say. But since CLinton likes Clark, he will be the #1 choice for Veep.

The real power in the dem party is now centered in California. Dean led one poll I saw, but he is falling like a rock here. Diane Feinstein's early endorsement of Kerry today tells you a lot. Hollywood is also 75% behind Kery now. A lot of money and clout there.

Kerry will own the California establishment. He will win the California primary. Clark will be his running mate and we will beat Bush. Mark my words.
