Well those convinced they know what other are convinced of are indeed "They jump to stupid conclusions that appear obvious because they would rather confirm their prior world view than do the hard work of collecting information and then using critical thinking." Those convinced they know what other are convinced of are simply idiots with a belief they understand what critical thinking is.

In the law there are many form of connections and liability.

I know that I don't know all the facts and all the evidence and I don't know the details behind the credibility of information I do know on Iraq..

And from what I do Know now Sadam was a clear and present danger to the safety of Americans, left on his own or contained with inspectors.

I have no idea what idiots are really convinced of as they really have no rational belief.

But I see your post as an idiot identification event cue.

But I also know I have unique access to information, raw data about Iraq and it confirms my beliefs that there are a lot of idiots identifying themselves.
