Yesssssss, I know the administration chose their words carefully in order get the American public to incorrectly conclude and "connect the dots" that Saddam and Osama were linked.

But if you ask me, that extremely poor deductive reasoning skill is more of a reflection on the American public than on the Administration. Look -- we deal with lame excuses and explanations every day. Most people show know a lame explanation when they hear one. And we should always suspect our government to be at the top of the "lame explanations" list. The current administration is simply carrying on a tradition that goes waaaaaay back, lol.

Here's the real deal:

He added: "We know he was giving $25,000 a family for anyone who would go out and kill innocent men, women and children. And we know of various other activities.

The real reason for the invasion -- to defend Israel -- but as you can imagine -- that explanation wouldn't go over too well.
