Paul, Although it is certainly no guarantee of any future price movements, it ~can~ mean that there is tightness in supply in the current month (that being December futures in this instance) The silver market typically is in contango, meaning near-term futures prices are less than the outer months. This backwardation development is certainly something to monitor. DB
