Fulbright on Reagan's tough stand on the "evil empire"

"If it is a psychological game, it is a complex and delicate operation requiring experience and subtlety in its execution--qualities which are hardly the hallmark of this administration." WRONG

The Chicago Tribune called Reagan's policies "an embarassment to the United States and a danger to world peace." WRONG

Ann Coulter on the left

"The left's ideas for winning a Cold War was a Nuclear freeze, opposition to anti-communist guerillas all over the world, opposition to the liberation of Grenada, opposing a missile defense shield, and engagaing in sweet talk with the Kremlin". WRONG

The fairytale was that Russia advancing in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Mongolia, Turkmenia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kirgizia, Poland, Moldavia, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Albania, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, East Germany, Yugoslavia, North Korea, Cuba, Cambodia, Laos, South Vietnam, Ethiopia, Angola, Mozambique, Nicaragua, the Seychelles, Grenada, and last but not least Afghanistan was not a pattern.
