Accountability is the first victim of faulty ideology.
As soon as the dubyaMD bush administration started leaning toward "secrecy", it was clear that accountability was being dumped in favor of fairytales.
shrub's crew was asleep at the wheel on 9/11. Since then they've closed their eyes and stomped on the gas pedal during rush hour.
They panicked and they're still in a state of panic. But all the while they're trying to put up the front that the ball is not in their court. That's where all the blind partisan crap comes in.
Not a realistic approach at all.
