It may be a good idea but it seems to me to be a supply side solution.

" We can continue to sell coal, oil and gas and maybe even sell more if we can figure out how to pump the exhaust into a hole and make it go away"

Demand side reductions are not in the equation or being studied

" we can find ways to produce, generate and transport energy more efficiently. We can develop more efficient
end uses along with displacing fossil fuels with alternative energy. "
