His article has the kind of hardheaded thinking that both parties are entertaining. The Dems write off the South, and The Repubs write off the Northeast. This Mid-West job loss has the Repubs up in arms, and rightfully so. The can't afford to lose there. Florida should hold for Bush, and the Dems will get California.

This gets down to the same strategy that both sides use about the House seats. Very few seats are really up for grabs, and very few States will be.
