Thames-- Why do you repeatedly confuse Bush's position with my position?

There is nothing you said that I disagree with. Indeed, my previous post was about Bush's failures in diplomacy and his destructive unilateral actions. Please, if you want to disagree with me, feel free to do so. Indeed, I welcome it or I wouldn't be posting. But don't confuse my positions with Bush's. Do you think Saddam has committed crimes against humanity? If you do, don't you think that the UN is the appropriate venue for action? If you agree with the above, then why aren't you outraged that the UN, despite the wrong-headedness of Bush and his diplomatic blindness, allowed Saddam to remain in power?

Apparently the Dalai Lhama saw Saddam as evil and shares my view that action must be taken to stop evil. Zonder, there are 200-250,000 Kurdish civilians missing and unaccounted for. Tell me what you call this?
