US manufacturers to file trade complaint vs China Reuters, 09.17.03, 10:16 AM ET WASHINGTON, Sept 17 (Reuters) - The United States' largest manufacturing group said on Wednesday it intended to file a trade complaint with the Bush Administration against China for currency manipulation. "The (National Association of Manufacturers) is joining with other industrial and agricultural groups and organized labor to develop a Section 301 trade action against China for its currency manipulation," NAM President Jerry Jasinowski said in a statement. Asked by reporters if the statement was an expression of an intent to file the complaint, NAM vice-president Frank Vargo said, "we wouldn't start if we didn't intend to file."
