OT/vt. Some. Ran into a picker with a very nice vintage Martin D-28 - a few months ago - at a small local farmers market where we buy fresh produce during the summer. He played some very nice walking bass work in blues finger style. I did an old Jim Kweskin cover, and we started taking the local grape vine. Don't know if you've heard about this or not. Clapton bought a nice place on the Sioto River, the other side of town, bout a year or two ago. His wife's from Columbus and they've been spending part of every year here since they got married. Earlier in the Summer, he had #2 kid in the oven. Probably in the crib by now. He's apparently a quiet, mellow dude who generally keeps a low profile. But, he's been seen around town a number of times and the local paper even got a good photo or two, on several ocassions. Once, he even showed up totally unannounced at this little coffee house and played a set. Heard it was very cool. Iso
