They should have their recess revoked and be forced to write 1000 times on the board:

I will earn my salary as a servant of the people by using all my time and resources to cut all non essential programs from the federal budget and balance our budget and begin to pay off our debt. I will cease acting like a petulant child and wasting everyone's time by taking up such bullshit as to whether we call something french fries, freedom fries or an f-ing heart attack inducing fried potato.
