It's worth fussing over if he's damaging your house! All Mr. Bear did was knock over a garbage can. He was after some over ripe peaches I had thrown away. I noticed this morning he didn't finish them, so I'm putting the can outside under a light tonight. I'm hoping to get better snapshots. It's weird, I spent 11 years living here and never saw a bear on my property. Then I left for a few years and now that I'm back for a few months I've seen a bear twice! I've also seen a flock (don't have my copy of An Exaltation of Larks handy, so I'm not sure if that's the proper nomenclature) of wild turkeys in my yard twice. They never used to show up before either.
