I have no idea where you got the notion that the client had heard of the incident or that I thought that. The report clearly says that the therapist had heard of the incident. Seventy percent of therapists had heard from at least one client who had been involved with a previous therapist. At some point in time in the past. Maybe last week, maybe twenty years ago. And maybe all seventy clients are unique. Or maybe it's ten clients who have each reported that to seven different therapists they've had over the years. Or maybe there are many, many more than seventy clients involved.

We have no way of knowing.

That's my only point. I'm not trying to diminish the numbers. I'm simply trying to point out to you that you are hanging your hat on something that's unknown. The only thing we know for sure from that report was that a few therapists admit to hanky panky. Perhaps only a few engaged. Or perhaps there were quite a few more who lied in response to the survey to hide their improprieties. All we know is that there were a few. We don't know how many clients were involved. We don't know how many incidents there were. We just know that a few therapists misbehaved.

You are trying to make more out of it than is there.
