OT: When it comes to good ol' dirty politics, will he be frozen out of the Dems' mainstream channels for support, funding and, most important, the nomination? This was what happened with McCain (my favorite in 2000) when he ran as the outsider against the Pubbies' choice of party stalwart Bush. I could even see Gore jumping back in to "defend the faithful". I kind of hope you are right--very likeable, very articulate, and I think he tries to stay on topic--thoughtfully so. I think his values are in the right place (as far as I'm concerned--sorry IJ). His not so veiled critiques during the lead-up to and prosecution of the war caught me off-guard. quid
