creation 4,004 B.C. (2,000 year age of the patriarchs)
abraham 2,004 B.C. (2,000 year age of the israelites/jews)
Jesus 4 B.C. (2,000 year age of Christ and the Church)

some people believe there would be another 2,000 years until his second coming, which would place it real soon.

I can see things moving very quickly if Bush is re-elected. Based on what he has already done and with re-election over Bush would have no more need to pacify the electorate. He has been so instrumental in advancing the New World Order (the beast) cause already I think after a re-election the gloves would come off. And I can't imagine anyone would have any more doubts about his true goals after that. He's not working alone of course. There are many "workers" small and great in the NWO. I think the Lord has tarried though and there's more time.

"This generation will not pass away before all these things take place", Jesus spoke to His disciples about the end.

They thought He meant their generation but He meant the generation that saw the nation of Israel re-established. That happened in 1948. That generation will not pass away until we see Jesus return. Someone in that generation will certainly live 80 years so that could put the end as late as 2028. But it doesn't have to be that long. And with Bush re-elected things would probably move very quickly.
