Bob,

If you don't mind I have a few questions about SI private messages.

Are private messages (pm's) by SI members ever viewed by SI personnel for any reason?

Have pm's of SI members ever been subpoenaed by authorities or second parties for the purpose of investigating civil or criminal suits? Has SI ever released such information to those parties? Are SI members notified if such releases are made? What is SI policy on protecting members privacy if such a subpoena were to be received?

How long are pm's maintained in the data banks of SI? Are private messages I wrote and deleted 4 years ago still retrievable or are they cleansed from the system?

Forgive me for being so curious, but I was wondering just how private those private messages are.
