could you list your short candidates in the order of best to worst.
I am looking for some good shorts candidates right now. At the moment, I only have one security in my portfolio, long on Actel. I have already milked SEG, XYLN, and MU this year on the short side. Of course, you could have just thrown a dart last month and picked out a short. But now, it is getting a little tough.
I think MSFT has limited upside from here, however, I don't think it is a good short. Now INTC has some potential down side, but too risky. MU is already beaten down too much. Xylan has now stablized, and has IBM on its side. . GATE announced good earnings, so the computer sector has stablized. So I am stumped at the moment
I'm looking for some SCREAMING SHORTS, with high valuations w/ hype, if there are any still left. Please list your reasons as well.
