Gottfried, Thanks for the posting the data so fast. That chart really shows a lot. With the exception of a rise in orders during the "middle" of 2002, the bookings level has been approximately the same for the past 28 months - incredible! There have been a lot of predictions about how things are going to improve, but to date - no movement.

Bookings and Billings this year will most likely be the lowest year since before 1995(by quite a lot actually). Some companies are predicting a 10 to 15 percent rise in revenue in the future, and the stock goes up 50 to 100 percent. I could see that kind of response if the order inputs go up 50 to 100 percent(which would just get the sector back to average levels of order input by the way), but not in the present situation.
