I read one interview where Carter never mentioned the 1%. Wait a minute. I think Carter said that only 1% of the people in Jordan approved of the United States. Earlier in the interview, Carter said he thought Bush had too much on the plate to consider the Middle East. I thought that was weird but then Carter brought it up again with the 1%. Now, I am not sure that we agree on what the 1% reference! (LOL) I wonder if Pat has left for Texas.
