OK OK...I made an error....sorry about the confusion.... CC -- Chris Considine, just three days ago on SI, blithely passing off his/her own ("Misspeak First, Correct it Later"), inflating the number of American casualties in Iraq by an incredible factor of four, at 6,000, not the real number of around 1,500. siliconinvestor.com It's hard to believe that it was just a slip of the tongue rather than a calculated lie... by exploiting the casualties for propaganda purposes.
