news on TGX True North Gems <True North Gems (TGX-TSX-VEN) reports that the Company has staked 156 claims covering an area of 25-square-kilometres around to the 100-percent-owned True Blue property, located in the Finlayson District of the Yukon northwest of True North's Regal Ridge emerald property. This acquisition by True North brings the Company's total land holdings in the Finalyson District to 1,034 claims covering a total area of 200-square- kilometres. Independent analysis is being conducted by Dr Lee Groat a professor at the University of British Columbia's Earth and Ocean Sciences and George Rossman at the California Institute of Technology. Authentication will also be conducted by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). This analysis will determine if the blue beryl discovered on the True Blue property is a completely new variety of gemstone, or the world's second only occurrence of deep blue beryl from the same family of minerals as emeralds and aquamarines. True North Gems is a public company listed on the TSX-Venture Exchange and is engaged in the exploration and development of North American gemstone deposits.
