<True North Gems (TGX-TSX-VEN) reports that the Company has staked 156 claims covering an area of 25-square-kilometres around to the 100-percent-owned True Blue property, located in the Finlayson District of the Yukon northwest of True North's Regal Ridge emerald property. "The addition of these claims significantly improves True North Gems' exposure to the gemstone potential of the Finlayson District. We are confident that further exploration will result in a world-class gemstone district emerging in the Yukon-A district in which True North Gems is at the forefront," says Andrew Lee Smith, CEO of True North Gems.

Exploration on the True Blue property yielded 50 individual beryl showings including the discovery of potentially rare blue beryl gemstones. The scientific verification necessary to classify the rare blue beryl discovered on the True Blue Property is underway. Independent analysis is being conducted by Dr Lee Groat a professor at the University of British Columbia's Earth and Ocean Sciences and George Rossman at the California Institute of Technology. Authentication will also be conducted by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). This analysis will determine if the blue beryl discovered on the True Blue property is a completely new variety of gemstone, or the world's second only occurrence of deep blue beryl from the same family of minerals as emeralds and aquamarines.

True North Gems is a public company listed on the TSX-Venture Exchange and is engaged in the exploration and development of North American gemstone deposits. The company is a pioneer in Canadian emerald exploration and owns a 100-percent interest in the Yukon-based Regal Ridge property and in the Ontario-based Ghost Lake property. Regal Ridge and Ghost Lake host the only two confirmed emerald deposits in Canada.>

I think it is for real and have so invested. I can imagine them turning into the ABER of emeralds

In fact I can ienvisage a combination of True North Aber and Tiffanys:

Precious gems from mine to (well healed*) consumer

*The majority of profits come from the upper end rocks
The price goes up exponentially with quality and size
