Ian, I freely accept that his compensation was obscene. BFD It was much more than that. Grasso's pay one year amounted to HALF of the NYSE's net income in at least one year and I believe two. Please direct me to any corporation where this is SOP. These pay packages were done behind closed doors and were not revealed until the NYSE was forced to do so. We learned last week that McCall, head of the Compensation Committee, was not even aware of $48M additional which Grasso was to receive(Can you say incompetence?). Additionally, people on the Board approving of his packages were the very same people he was supposed to regulate! The next step is to remove the entire Compensation Committee. Brian
