it's funny that so many people believe that slavery only ever occurred in the u.s. during a particular and isolated period of time... as if it were some sort of hystorical anomaly - never having appeared before those 'dark days' in the american south, and never to appear again - but for which so many of us should nonetheless to this day be ashamed over, and perhaps even pay reparations for... regardless of whether our forefathers were personally involved or not ...

where in truth slavery is and always has been a salient feature of the human condition... regardless of culture or 'race'...

in any event, all of those people running around preaching 'freedom' and 'liberation' and such are way off base... freedom was never free... and slavery is much closer to the natural state of mankind than freedom will ever be...

and of those who see the state as a panacea for everything... well they have the biggest slave mentality of all... but it should be plain for anyone to see by now that socialism is natural and the word 'liberty' just a quaint reminder of what could have been... had human nature really ever allowed it...

in short, 'your side' is 'winning' so that should make you happy...
