Ok, here you go:
What do you think Clark meant when he said what he did about the calls on 9-11?
The quote says "Middle-East think tanks and people like this". I do not believe that Gen. Clark has further identified the people who called.
Who called?
See above.
Who told him to say there was a connection?
See above.
And if there was no evidence, why did he even bring it up on tv?
Well, that's four questions, but really all one question. He probably didn't bring up their names because then it could be a 'he said/she said' sort of thing. He was basically trying to show an example of the type of pressure to draw a link between 9/11 and Saddam.
George Will simply made up the stuff about Clark saying that the White House called. Maybe he was too lazy to read the original transcript. Maybe he has his own agenda (heaven forbid!).
Sean Hannity merely bogarted Will's argument, and also probably failed to consider the original text. That's how these lies get propagated. Someone either misquotes, lies, or is too lazy to seek the real truth, and then others pass it on because it fits their point of view.
Come on Kevin, answer the questions. I truly am curious
Now, I believe you're the one showing dishonesty. I think you're merely trolling. If you were honest, you'd have read the original transcript and came to the correct logical conclusion. When asked about the call, he stated it was from Middle East think tanks, period. End of sentence, end of argument.
Instead, apparently, you'd like Will and Hannity to do your thinking for you. |
