"What additional considerations is he looking for based on freedom on conscience? If any? Exemption from any liability or laws pertaining to discrimination? Or what?

Yes. He will fight any sanctions levied against him by the government or by the industry. We want protections for freedom of conscience equal to protections for any other liberty.

Here is a parallel: If he had a phobia about having women in his work group, he might qualify for protection inder ADA as having an illness that could be accommodated by providing a work cube where he is isolated. This would be considered a reasonable accommodation under ADA. I saw that as a use case example for ADA (only it was a female who was afraid of working around men).

He is refusing to be labeled with a disability and wants his 'Freedom of Conscience' to be given the same measure of recognition and accommodation. (I hope we don't have to write new federal regs just for poor old mojo).
