I tried that last night. I set the can with the unfinished peaches out under a light and he never showed. Maybe they have a regular circuit they do... This guy has me a little spooked. When I got up and left awhile ago to go in the house, (there are two buildings here) it had gotten dark and I hadn't turned the outside lights on and the overhead door to the garage was open. It felt like a regular caper just getting to the kitchen door! I've always kept that overhead door open and the lights out. I'm back and forth between buildings a lot and it's nice walking in moonlight. And when it's pitch dark, it's cool navigating by your senses. But now I'll have to use the inconvenient side door and suffer the garishness of exterior lighting, at least until I quit being ascared of the dark...
