The Palestinian suicide bombers are primarily youth who are about the same age as the young Americans fighting in Iraq. They do not need instruction in the hopeless nature of their lives -- they experience it under Israeli occupation every day. Their daily reality makes them open to indoctrination. They probably know far more about why they are going to die than a young American who was called up for active duty.
