If somebody builds a fence around your community -- a community you live in because you live in a ghetto after your house and land has been stolen -- and if the people who erect the fence are heavily armed and can completely control your comings and goings -- and if the people who live in these fenced off ghettos live in dire poverty because they cannot freely move about and live their lives -- it is fair to compare this to other fenced in ghettos, including the Warsaw ghetto. At least in the Warsaw ghetto there were no attack helicopters and supersonic aircraft bombing people on the street. What happened to the Jews should be condemned for all eternity. What is happening to the Palestinians deserves at least passing recognition -- they too are human beings.
