I'd prefer to deal with solutions rather than the "snide." The extremists seem to be in control in the West Bank and Gaza. It's a fact of life and no amount of pontification will change it. The talk continues about destroying Israel but that's not the point. Israel is not going away and the Palestinians are not going away. Life for all in the area is incredibly hard. There is plenty of land for all. IMO, the Arab leaders have used the Palestinians as pawns, keeping them in camps, using them for their own cynical purposes. Many leaders in the pan Arab lands, have diverted attention from their own corruption and tyranny by keeping the focus on "evil Israel." Start with Arafat who, it is claimed, has amassed a billion dollars largely from pilfered US aid.
