Yes indeed, router's NAT will hide your IP address from the Internet and most has limited firewall too. It is a tad better than XP's ICF but neither will safe your from trojan attack like a real firewall. A few weeks ago, I saw a 4-ports router switch sold for $9.99 after rebate. I wonder how much is manufacture cost of the box... Back to the topic: Casual Techwatcher doesn't like gold short-term. And he is very bullish on the corporate market until 2005. Anyone has any opinion about his comments? Is he too optimistic? finance.messages.yahoo.com
