The CC from the left about what they would have done after the aggressive attack by fanatical murderers on innocent civilians who did nothing more than get up on the morning of 9/11/01 and go to work has been illustrated ad nausea. The only problem for them is........most Americans don't like what they hear. Just as they don't accept the left's propensity to negotiate peace through European consent, which hasn't been illustrated enough.

Americans are not stupid and they recognize that the ridiculous, and unfounded accusations, such as the one that the senator from Massachusetts made yesterday, typifies their deceit and desperation. The left must realize that Americans don't like cowards if they expect to run a war.

Here is a perfect example of how Wesley Clark would have handled the war on terror.

Everything is seen through the prism of NATO's Kosovo campaign, his one claim to military glory.

Can you imagine having to get every special ops target in Afghanistan approved by 19 different countries, including those who opposed any action against the Taliban?

Can you even begin to imagine constructing a case for any action in Iraq under similar auspices?

It simply wouldn't have happened. Which is the point.

It's important to remember that under the last administration, almost nothing happened to address the genocide in the Balkans until the genocide had taken place.

Why? Because we needed a consensus from all the Europeans to even wipe our collective ass.

And here is a link to Wesley Clarks essay on the war on terrorism.

How anyone with an ounce of American patriotism flowing in their veins can support this approach is beyond most red blooded Americans. It's not the way America works.

The left doesn't have what it takes to defeat terrorism and Americans know this instinctively. It is obvious that they just don't recognize the danger we all face from our enemies, and that Achilles heel will defeat them at the polls in the next presidential election.
