Getting off oil would require standing up to Big Oil, the Dick Cheney types and parts of the auto industry, the parts that make money off gas guzzling. Right now we've got the foxes in the hen house. First move is to get them out, then we can make progress. Europe is already on their way, but we need to lead, not follow. johnkerry.com for his views on it, the #1 expert running for Prez. People say that whatever's good for Texas is bad the the rest of the country. This is often true. And now we have the Texans in charge. No wonder we're in such deep trouble.
