What I mean is that, held to close, I would have made more $ by not selling covered calls.

No I am not buying them back.
Sheeesh.
Had I bought them back yesterday at the "breakout" I would have been crucified on the plunge back to 5.20.

Those CC sells are a hedge and have enabled me to keep my position thru these swings.
