Well, by 'religious colonisers' I meant 'those who move to lands not previously owned or inhabited by their people, though often still claimed and occupied by others, for religious reasons'.
It's a fairly neutral way of describing such, I would say. If I were using weighted terms I might say 'fanatical cultist carpetbaggers' or 'monomaniacal greedy zealots'.

Note that I do grant amnesty to those who settled in, for example, pre-partition Israel for nationalist/religious reasons. If we refuse 1949 borders we get all kinds of problems elsewhere. I don't think you'll find too many non-Jews who have settled in Israel or the West Bank since then, especially for other than religious reasons... but do feel free to show that I'm wrong and that there have in fact been substantial committed secularists moving into ex-Palestine...

It's not IMO that good a plan. It's workable, reasonably even-handed, and offers security and lebensraum to both parties - plus if both are dissatisfied it's probably in the consensual area. But there's no longer any Palestinian body with a voice to accept it, and Sharon's refused it with near-majority backing for his stance (give or take the vagaries of the Israeli PPV system)...
A good plan would be acceptable and enforceable on both sides... LOL as if.
