Now there's a sobering fact.
The only person facing that fact is Dean, apparently.
Our other politicians are happily endangering our children by involving us in that region, and should be pilloried.
I just look at the number of people in the region - palestinians and israelis combined. Less than the population of the SF bay area. And how many wars, attacks, bloodshed etc has this small group of people caused
Absolutely incredible when you think about the stranglehold this region has on the U.S. people, our politicians, and our treasury.
I did my own "special", lived and worked there and saw the nature of their commitment. If you have the background the military recruits you, Jewish or not, my attitude to the military recruiter did not make me popular -- "you are stupid to fight over whose invisible man is greater, this is your fight, not mine, and stay away from my family or I'll kill you myself". Now it's happened, we have 911 and the ME has arrived. Granted they have courageous warriors, and an ancient culture, but so what? The gov'ts there are insane, and its past time to stop supporting that cycle of insanity before we all start killing people in the name of "Allah, Jahova, the Crusades", etc.
Any President stating we will pull out militarily and only participate diplomatically, if he isn't forcibly removed, will cause an immediate change in attitude. They WILL work together, or die together, and we do not have the answers to their problems. They will solve them, we can't. |
