The left has figured out -- and they might have it right -- that the way they can take over this country without popular democratic support from two branches of government (Congress and the White House) is through the third branch -the Courts - by judicial appointment. Thus, the huge but largely unreported battle going on over judicial appointments and Daschole's and the Democrats' blocking and filibustering hearings on Bush appointments.

Since the Left can't get elected consistently and often enough for their liking to cram their socialist agenda down our throats once and for all through legislation, they litigate and make new law by judicial fiat.

PLUS, federal judges are appointed for LIFE, unless they commit an "impeachable" offense (even then, nobody pays attention to their transgression), so once they get appointed, they're locked into power!!!
