Dean isn't slipping out of contention YET. But he has three huge marks against him as of this past week and is in the processing of slipping.

#1 - Clark will steal a lot of his grassroots support #2 - He gaffed, lied and switched six positions #3 - Clark's entry shines the light on military experience as a pre-requisite to challenging Bush

If Dean can overcome those and get nominated, he will STILL lose to Bush because all Karl Rove has to do is play "Hamas are soldiers" over and over on TV juxtaposed against terrorist bombings of women and kids, and Dean is smeared. A landslide win for Bush DESPITE the fact half the country distrusts him. Mark my words. I know what I am talking about. And I also personally know several liberals who have already switched away from Dean. They are typical.

Also, Dean has no endorsements, nothing. And the CLintons and the DNC have already decided to do everything in their power to stop him. Not because they dont like Dean, but because he will give a precious election to Bush.
