As the other candidates drop out, the frontrunner will probably pick up steam. That could very well be Clark, who is seen as many as extremely electable (unlike Dean).
Many Democrats are fed up, fed up with the right shift that Bush put on after his "I'm a uniter not a divider" promise was shattered, fed up with the right wing pundits like Coulter, Hannity, Savage, et al, fed up with the fiscal irresponsibility, fed up with the attack on civil liberties, fed up with the neglect of education, fed up with the opening of the floodgates for businesses to ruin the environment.
Clark seems like the guy to unite these voices, and turn Bush's supposed 'patriotic advantage' into a bad disadvantage. We'll see how it plays out... |
