I completey understand why people drive SUVs. Here in the DC area the roads are so rough that if you aren't driving a SUV or a military vehicle your suspension will be knocked unconscious in less than two years. My air suspension just recently blew out. I'm not kidding about the poor conditions of the roads here, and DC has about the highest taxes in the entire middle atlantic states.
