Right. Or, the dems might argue further that anybody who failed to vote AT ALL must have intended to vote for Gore, because the Republicans deprived them of the education that, if they hadn't been deprived of, would have resulted in their political enlightenment = must have voted for Gore.

The dems' corollary to that is that anybody who voted for Bush must be mentally incompetent, and therefore should become a ward of the state; and since dems look out for wards of the state, those votes automatically should be switch to Gore.

The result? 100% voter turnout, 100% for Gore.

Sounds a little like Marxist thinking? That's the proven method the dems are edging towards, so far without the mass executions of dissenters (but just a few unexplained deaths during the Clinton years).
