It's the Bush regime telling us we're less safe, my friend. Argue with them.

Then, the claim is "just give us a few trillions and you'll be safer, but never completely safe -- you'll always have to have us looking over you !"

The usual big-gov't extortion, nothing new under the sun.

The 2/3 Al Queda killed or captured makes what difference? According to Bush Inc., we're still at "orange". The leadrs OBL and Hussein are still "at large", to use law enforcement parlance.

Guarantee -- as long as Bush is running for election, there will be horrors announced at regular intervals, and the administration will never declare the US "safe".

By any comparison, we are worse off than prior administrations. Here's what Dean has to say:

"This President has racked up the largest deficit in the history of our country, cost us more than 3 million jobs, and sullied our image as an idealistic moral force in world affairs. If all of us act together, we will defeat this President. We will undo the damage he has done at home and abroad— and restore the honor and respect that our country deserves around the world."
