que seria,

I love the feel of gold. I love the look of gold. I even love the idea of gold as a store of value.

The only problem that I have with it as the medium of exchange, which is quite distinct from the store of value. It is hard to buy something with gold directly in any form.

There needs to be a currency that is storable in banks and moveable digitally. That is today's reality.

The gold bugs counter by saying that "gold has always....." I always counter with "how do you spend it?" Stops 'em cold after an initial splutter about "trading....bullion....coins..."

Has anyone got any idea what the ideal currency is? Until someone can convince me otherwise, I will stick to US bonds and change them to cash when I need to spend them. All precious metals, mutual funds including Money Market funds are ultimately the same as stocks. A certificate for redemption at whatever price the market decides. In particular Money markets can easily "break the buck" and annoy everyone.
