Well whats a living wage? I have no problem with a living wage if thats the value of the product produced. Let the market set the rate based on efficient supply and demand principles. Don't be afraid of supply and demand. For all we know, maybe Davis Bacon wages are set too LOW and all the workers are getting screwed. Now do you see the point? Its communism because in the Marxist system, all prices are fixed by the state and there are no freely fluctuating prices based on supply and demand...just like Davis Bacon wages. Davis Bacon has no place in a market economy.
