RtS, Your scenario looks very plausible - as usual, and perhaps even more so this week with the market so strong lately, we could see some big down side moves after a couple of up days. However, having said that, I wonder what the "trigger" will be to start an "extensive" pullback.

I have been looking for that trigger for some time, but it has not shown up. As long as all the news presented is so positive, it is tough to find a catalyst to start a "down cycle".

I think we have a real divergence going between the SOX and the NASDAQ. It has been going on for several weeks now and at some point we need a "resolution" of the situation. The high cap semi-equips have been flat to down the past 4 weeks or so - only the smaller cap companies have been on a tear.

We will just have to wait and see what happens this week.
