I just attended a Kerry fundraiser today. The man had done ten appearances that day. This was the last. He must have been exhausted, but he took the time to talk to everyone , was warm, friendly and sharp, then got up and made a humble but blistering speech about where we need to take this country, exposing Bush as what he is. Afterward, he took the time to have a moment with me. I told him his only problem is clarifying the BS attacks that he waffled on the war. I cited his speeches a year ago being precisely what his positions are today. And if Bush had followed his advice, none of the problems we have now would have happened. He thanked me and promised me he'd clarify that. Off he went. You had to be there, but the man was damn impressive. Always is. He's got tons of spine. He just needs more time to communicate with the people. All he's had so far are sound bites and short statements. Be patient. I perdict Kerry-Clark the two Silver Star team will be the next inhabitants of the WH and will make a great administration we can all be proud of. Dean can't win and I prfer Kerry over Gephardt. Clark is great but really just a Veep candidate in the end. He'll likely get it too.
