You boys are missing the real issues here I think. First, underwriting money is flowing into gold equities, especially the juniors. This always creates a new discovery and inflames the greed. This hasn't happened yet but will. Second, the girls and I conducted a poll. We talked to a lot of people, our friends who have serious money in the Valley, more than this thread could imagine. 99% didn't even know the price of gold and 99.9% didn't own a gold stock and their brokers still don't discuss gold stocks-this is not the sign of a top in gold or its equities. There will be a new huge discovery. There will be greed and there will be much larger moves despite the 500% gains so far. The percentage gain that Russ is alarmed about is from a super depressed long term low that will not happen again for many decades. The chickens are still pecking the ground and the turkeys aren't flying so stay long until someone who you know knows dick about the market, touts you on a gold stock, especially one that is baloney. We are a long way from that I think. The question is where is the discovery stock? How high will it go? What country? This thread could do a great service to its proponents if we all reported what we are being told to buy by the amateurs, not the professionals. Let's try that as that may be the right measure now as guessing about what gold is going to do is folly. Nobody knows that. We have to discuss the real sentiment of "Gold Street". What is the behavior of the great unwashed goldfingers? And, we have people talking about shorting gold stocks! I have my top 10 picks and I'll give them on a private message basis for those interested. Liz
