Privatizing formerly state-run industries and banks will help create jobs that otherwise wouldn't exist

Yes, I realize this. I'm also aware of the emotional impact of seeing critical industries and banks snapped up by outsiders. The key is to move toward the goal of privatization without triggering an excessive nationalist backlash.
