<How true. I, for one, was for the invasion, albeit with the UN and not unilaterally. Why? Because the entire administration was so sure that Saddam had WMDs, and would use them - remember the specter of the 'mushroom cloud'? Also, they were sure that Al Qaeda was working hand-in-hand with Saddam.
I see now that we were lied to. By who? Was Bush also lied to? Possibly. But, still, someone wanted this war. The PNAC group? Probably.
So, what now? We've been screwed, and there's no easy way out of it. Begging to the UN for legitimacy, working like hell to keep our troops safe and rebuild the country, paying through the nose for generations to come. As they say, it's a big sh*t sandwich, and we all have to take a bite...
Clinton may have screwed Monica, but Bush has screwed us all...<
Kevin......follow the money.......Oil, Texas, Enron/Bush/Texas, El Paso/Texas, Bush, Rice, Halliburton/Cheney/Texas, Brown & Root/Halliburton/reconstruction, Bechtal/Texas/reconstruction.
Don't forget the California energy crisis and deregulation....El Paso/Enron/Texas/Bush/Cheney/etc..
The plot was obvious from day 1......Of the 19 terrorists involved in 9-11, 14 were Saudis. THERE WERE NO IRAQIS INVOLVED IN 9-11......after 6-9 months of rehtoric, bashing the Iraqis, Bush convinced the Electorate that an attack on Iraq was justified. Who the hell was this Blix dude???????? |
