"I am discussing the democratic right of people to define marriage"
All churches define it in a slightly different way and they all modify it according to their own beliefs. I just returned from one, and nobody asked if anyone objected to this union, blah, blah, blah,...or forever hold his peace. In other words, they had removed an essential barrier to the prevention of a couple of sinners from tying a knot. Well...it WAS their day, so I let it go at that...but really??
"Sure, some might do it the old- fashioned way, but if they are not bisexual, it is likely that they will take the technological route"
Intuitively, I cannot imagine that they would take the time and trouble to complicate a simple matter. Most lesbian women have many gay friends whom they respect and love and whom they hope would make excellent donors. It is my understanding from a couple of web sites that this is the default methodology. However, the point remains uncertain so I will try to look up a better answer just out of curiosity. |
